"Abide With Us"

is the prayer that we pray when we have reached the end of ourselves. When we have put in our best efforts and realized that it wasn’t enough. When we tried the self-help books and the motivational speeches and finally concluded that we couldn’t manufacture fruit on our own. When we eventually realize that every thing we need really is found in Jesus. We let the rest melt away because His Word and His presence are all we need. And we pray,

“Lord, Abide with Us.”
